Two hose adaptors are included to fit onto an inlet and outlet hose. Each hose connector transforms the end of a 11/2 inch hose into a 11/4 inch connection. Small above ground pools have a 11/4" inlet and outlet whereas the most powerful filter pumps are compatible with 11/2" hoses.
