This cage is for kittens for adoption and we need an area where they can run and develop their jumping and climbing skills. We are very satisfied with the product. It's easy to put together in a way that we think will give us the most space. The versatility of a cage is that you can shape and size it to suit your pet's needs and the room you have access to. Glad it comes with panels for cages, platforms and stands, you can use your imagination to create a cage that makes your pets feel at home. The panels are easy to connect, and the kit provides all the connectors you need to put things together. They even include zippers for extra strength in areas where you feel you need them. As you can see in the picture, once it's together, it's strong enough for two kittens to climb the wall to the top of the cage (see picture). The platform has a sturdy padding on which our kittens hopped and I could see them holding up for a long time. Our cage is big enough that I can sit in it and play with the kittens. So really, it depends on how you design the layout and what you use. The package comes in a box that's about a 15" cube, but it's amazing what's in the box. I'm surprised it even includes a small hammer, which I didn't have to use as the parts snap together easily. The quality of the panel is excellent and the wires on the bottom layer are coated which I'm sure will make it rust resistant. If you want extra area for your pet to play or live in, this is definitely the cage you are looking for.
